There is it! Finally my first cattleya opened the first bud! I got this plant in Januaru and te plant was in very poor condition then (rooten roots, wrinkled pseudobulbs). uring the summer, It grew 5 new pseudobulbs and few weeks ago I saw 4 spikes growing from those new growths. I removed 2 spikes just to make the blooming easier for the plant.

Yes, it does, but only at the evening... Fragrance is sweet but not very strong.

I have a question if i may. How long does it take to go from sheet to bloom?

Soonix, my name is Aleksa, not Alaska

The time from sheet to opened bloom varies, it depends on temperature. In my case, under optimal temperature plant needed a month to grow 2 spikes and open the flowers.
