I am very sorry ALESkA , i almost did it again. I am sure there is a member named Alaska or maybe short for Alaska girl.

I discovered about 5 sheets on my Iwan apple blossom, 1 on my prost Cochleata some where at the beginning of september and nothing still! I decided to assume that they are waiting for spring. The plants look healthy and are producing serious roots and new growth in case of the prost cochleata.

Are the sheets empty? if they are than your plant is waiting for the spring. If there is bud growing, you should expect flowers before!

I have a similar story. I bought my first Cattleya in December and it has just given me three awesome blooms. I hope this chilly front (40 deg. low) we've been having in S. Florida isn't going to be a problem. Input anyone?

Hi Aleksa,

They sure are beautiful. Congrats on a successful save of a sickly chid. Well done!

Thanks for the post.
