Default Crowned Laelia purpurata Lindl.

This is an ordinary L. purpurata, nothing special with it, but it always gives a crown of flowers and that's why I keep it! It is always a joy to look at these flowers and smell their fragrance!

I have always loved the veining in purpuratas...and with this plant, it is stunningly clear! Thanks for sharing this "nothing special" plant with us Mauro.

Sorry, I didn't mean to say it is a plant to trash; I just wanted to say that it is not any special variety, only a normal flower of L. purpurata. But you are right, I re-read my post I I think I could be more specific! Thanks for the comment!
