Can anyone who's familiar with Cattleya lueddemanniana tell me whether or not it's adaptable to, or at least tolerant of, cool to intermediate night temperatures?.
Hi Steve,
I grow my Catts (species & hybrids) outdoors in South Florida. In the Winter we get temps down into the upper 30's at night along the coast where I live. I've never had any problems with the Catts...including lueddemanniana. They adapt.
Good to know, jcaesar. Thank you. My plant has been growing with the rest of the cattleyas this winter and seems to be handling the temperatures just fine. Maybe this species is more adaptable than I had assumed it would be. Thank you again for your response.
