Hi Janet!
I bought my orchid at a big-box store whose name rhymes with "Lowes".

Seriously, it was only a "bag-baby" (in a cellophane bag), so I was surprised when I saw it.....it looked quite healthy compared to most of the orchids-in-bags that I have seen or bought before.

I totally agree.....you should DEFINITELY try to buy one like it! I'm sure it would grow exceptionally well for you since you'll both know your names are the same!
