That update of yours is stunning! Well done, and thanks for sharing it with us.

I just saw some of these at the Tampa Orchid Show on Friday, and yours outshines them all!

Awww... thank you! You're all very sweet!

To answer a question - I do grow this outside during the summer. It gets plenty of sun - enough to tinge the leaves purple - about 4-5 hours of direct morning sun - and dappled light the rest of the day. It's watered freely, repotted yearly into fresh bark, and fed at least once a week. It doesn't have a distinct rest period and will bloom twice a year - in fact, there are three new growths that should be in bloom in six months time.

I tell ya, that morning sun, that's the ticket!!! Good quality light, and not strong enough to burn. Man, I thought I was going to love my new southern windows after I moved, but I find myself wishing I had my old east-facing windows again!!! Your plant is really beautiful, nice growing!!!
