Default Lc Oriental Splendor x Lc Flirtie

I posted this mildly fragrant flower back in Feb and as much trouble as I have had with empty sheaths, seeing these flowers opened is a very reassuring sign that all is not lost and there may be some hope for my other catts

Sweet. Looks very much like a daffodil.

Not that I know your conditions but a little more light might help with flowering?

I like the yellow.

I have asked about my empty sheaths and many thought it might be the type of fertilzer. So I changed over to a flower booster food and not really any difference. So now I thing you could be more corect that I haven't given my catts enough light. Not that the proper food isn't important, but in view of the fact that changing food didn't seem to force more flowers, I am going with more light this next season!

The 1st summer I had these, I placed them out on the driveway to get some good morning and afternoon sun, but that seemed to be too much so this past summer they stayed in the GH with my phals and a 70% shadecloth. I know that the 70% closth is not enough sun, so that is why next year I'm going to try another plan. Currently there is no shadecloth because our Sun is lower on the horizon.

Agree, Cats need much more light than the phals. But see what a little patience and determination will do for you. Never give up, keep changing until they respond they way you want them to. Nice flower. Thanks for sharing.
