That is absolutely gorgeous and looks pretty huge! This is the first time I've heard of a Dinard. I assume it's a hybrid with cattleya a part of it? What's the rest, please?

You and John deserve a for this one. It is beautiful!
I actually had two at one point, but never got to see either of them bloom. I gave one away as a gift to a friend, and the other developed crown rot and died about 2 months later (this was over a year ago). Oh well, at least I get to enjoy yours. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Stunning!!! Do the flowers color saturation and size improve with age? I have one that gave me its first bloom and it looks very light lavender in color rather than a deep rich purple, hmmmm
|
