I bought this one right after it finished blooming, last year....so I never got to see it. The lip seems to open more than most tenebrosas (that I've seen), but I still love the colors....it looks like rusty chocolate! The other new growth got broken, so looks like I only get one flower....oh well, I'll take it!

That is so pretty, Jasen. A different colour combination but I really like it. Nice going!

I've never seen a L. tenebrosa that had the colors that yours does. It is beautiful!

Sorry to hear about the lose of the one new growth...I hope that next year you are able to bloom out more than one!

It's the actual color that you see in the picture. That pic was taken under natural sunlight. I think it's closer to a rust color, though.
