If you decide it doesn't really fit in with the rest of your collection you can drop it off at HNL Int. Airport in December and I will be happy to take it to the mainland.

Indeed, a wonderfull blue Cattleya which reminds me of Cattleya Portia var coerulea (a primary hybrid)

I totally agree! The first thing that I thought when I saw the flowers was that it looks very much like bowringiana or a primary hybrid of it! Great minds think alike.

Ive heard SE Georgia is wonderful this time of year! Not too hot, not too cold, juuuuuuust right! And no 'canes this time of year either! Maybe a vaycay is just what the Dr. ordered.

Wow, Steve. There is blue and then again, there is blue. Great color!! I just had to look this up and you and Ramon were right. It's predominately bowringiana and labiata. David, I'll flip you for it!!
