Default Encyclia NOID

A friend and I were talking about our orchids and I mentioned that I have always liked Encyclia cochleata. A week later, a package arrived at my door with a nice two-bulb division. Five months later new bulbs have grown and the plant has given me these lovely blooms. I'm not positive it's E. cochleata - the bulbs are larger than I've seen for the species - but it's certainly at least got a lot of the species in its hybridizing if not. One new growth has five buds/flowers while the other has six.

Oh wow, nice orchid! I just had a grower put my name on one of these. I'm anxious to get it now. It's so cute!
