This Mexican and Central American species is large (both plant and flowers!), but is worth having it, because besides the flowers beauty, the scent is awesome! It is very seldom seen in nurseries here. I grow two plants that came from an import a nursery did several years ago. As of that time I have never seen it for sale again.
Mauro I've got one of these guys and can't wait to see it in bloom. I really like the shape of the flowers and don't know what its scent is but I'm sure that it probably smells good.
omg... that's so much gorgeousness! I've never seen anything quite like it... Can you describe the scent?
Sorry, Lavendula, I'd like having words to properly describe perfumes, but I am completely unable to do that! I can only say that it is sweet and strong. When it is in bloom its perfume is the first thing you smell when you enter the grh!

I am sure both the flowers and the perfume won't disappoint you, Rolando! Be sure it smells good!!
