Cattleya Bud looks like a Little Bird

Like a little green bird in a pod. Two of the sepals have dark points that look like eyes. And those two are slightly shorter than they should be, so the calyx can’t completely contain the developing flower. It is protruding out at the tip and looking like a beak.





I took this one the next day. Had been having a hard time getting a good picture because I couldn’t get the camera to focus on the bud.
