Default Ctna. Maui Maid 'December Bride' x B. nodosa

I bought this one at Home Depot, about a year ago. It was one of the clear-bag NBS 'chids. This is it's first bloom, so I'm kinda happy to see it....there's three more spikes comin' right behind it! Very sweet! It obviously likes its new home. Good pick, and good growing!

Jasen,

I love that color combination, and the clarity of the photographs ...especially the first one...is excellent. Well done!

Nice one, Jasen!
If it has B. nodosa in it .. it's got to be a good
Is it fragrant?
Can you give us an idea of plant (pot) size? Number of pseudobulbs ..
Thanks

:iagree:

Yeah, we got power back on Friday night. 6 1/2 days is rough, but those coastal folks have it much worse. We feel thankful. It's good to be back.

It isn't fragrant during the day, I'll have to check it tonight. The plant consists of about 25, or so, p-bulbs (4 in spike) in a 6" pot. It looks like nodosa, except the leaves are a little bit fatter.

Yep! I checked it this morning, it had a sweet floral scent. Some of that nodosa night-trickery!
