Bc. Patricia DuQuesnay
I picked up two of these at the Tamiami show back in Jan. I mounted one on my Royal Palm tree and it now has a bud and one I potted has flowered. The tag says that they are Novelty type and the colors vary. The cross is B. grandiflora x C. jungle whimsy.

So that's what this is supposed to look like!!! I was given one three years ago and have not been about to get it to do anything but get smaller...
Thanks for posting it! It sounds like mounting might be a solution to my problem..

Thanks everyone, When yours does bloom you can look forward to a awesome scent. I would discribe it as a light sweet flora scent not a lot different then a B. nodosa It took 3 days for it to give off its scent. I'm hoping the one on the Royal Palm tree is a different color. Good Luck

Dave,
Thanks for posting this "novelty" bloom. It is great!
Do you remember the vendor you got it from...I may have to do a little investigation into getting one for myself.
I likes it I do...I likes it a lot...

Sorry David, I don't remember there name. I got them at the Tamiami Show from a out of country vendor. I can't remember if they where from the Bahamas or Jamaica. They had a table full of them and they were going for 2 for 5.00. Maybe someone who went there can remember.
