The second bud has opened and the flower is better than the first......although slightly smaller. If I can get a good photo of the bloom tomorrow I will post it for you.

Great picture Bolero! I am not sure about this one but one of the great things about many of the minis is that many of them will bloom nearly every time a new growth matures. Also, many will bloom under lower light conditions than the standards need. Thanks for the tip Dorothy!

Yeah I love the compactness of the plant and the fact that quite often it flowers on the new growths. I am looking forward to it getting bigger over time. I notice that if it only has one flower on a growth that the flower is much bigger than if it has two, this makes sense but makes me wonder if I should cut one flower off to keep it bigger or should I leave it with two small jewels......lol.

I would leave the 2 jewels .. but that's my personal perference ..
