Default Epi conopseum x Bl Richard Mueller

Blooms on every new growth. When it gets bigger, I want to take a division from it and see if it is as frost hardy as its epidendrum parent.

Lovely fresh color and the plant makes a nice bouquet! Is it fragrant at all?

That's really cute! Good flower count.
It would make a gorgeous specimen plant. Bet it would get covered with flowers in no time.

I'd definitely be interested to hear if it is frost hardy. If you can track it down, there's a good article in the October 1966 AOS magazine on using Epidendrum conopseum in hybridizing. The title of the article is "Breeding for Cold Tolerance" and it was written by Henry M. Wallbrunn.
