Default my new epi. atronecium x enc. cordigera 'dark'

i got this orchid Tuesday night at our orchid society meeting. it's in an 8" pot and has a new growth coming out. when should i expect a bloom? it is in a charcoal mix so about how often should i water it? thanks!

Your hybrid is similar enough to the hybrid mentioned in this thread.
Encyclia...potting Media??
Also check the names since there seems to be a lot of confusion in naming Encyclia vs. Epidendrum and as I recall Antronecium is also a hybrid
