I agree. I have no problem chopping the roots off of my Brassavolas when the need arises. It just seems to make them bounce back bigger and better than they were before. They are truly hardy plants.

Supposedly these smell at night, though I haven't gone out yet to smell it! Ill let you know when I do.

Hi Dorothy,

I have one blooming in my collection now, and it is quite fragrant at night...not too strong, but just right...a nice sweet, spicy scent. Well worth the trip to the shade house at midnight.
