I agree with Royal, very nice. Ive been looking for this one for a while at the shows here in town. I really like the red streaks in your flower. Looks great!

Hi Pheli,
This is beautiful! I love crosses made with B. cucullata, and have actually been attempting to make one of my own...with no success...Yet!
Just out of curiosity I decided to look this guy up on the RHS site. because of digbyana now being a Rhyncolaelia, this is the new name: Rcv. David Sander
RHYNCHOVOLA (Rcv.) = Brassavola × Rhyncholaelia

Thanks David.
Rcv. David Sander is the formal name of it but I am still used to call it B. David Sander.

An awsome looking orchid......just in time for halloween, kindda' ghostly. Such an unusual one, glad you broadened my knowledge of another I've never seen.

I've got one of this that still hasn't bloomed yet and sure can't wait to see it in bloom. Also I've got both parents; B. cucculata and R. digbyana. All three of them are beautiful.

Hi Don, it is an early cross and was not easy to find here. But about two years ago, a local nursery recreated it and hence the plants of this cross are now quite easily available here.

Beautiful bloom. Thanks for a great picture and am enjoying the color it has.
This one has been on my list and anything with digbyana in it. I love the fringe on them. Don't have anybody yet so will just have to wait longer.

I have one of these plants that I have been growing here in SW Florida for several years, but all I have ever been able to grow are "Keiki's" from my original plant...still no blooms. Today, at the 64th International Orchid Show in Miami, FL, I purchases a meristem of this cross, and hopefully, I will have better results in the next few years....Bob in Naples, FL
