Default Cattleya labiata var. suavis

Or at least that is what it says on the tag...

I'm growing it in a basket. Not much fragrance that I've noticed, at least at the times of day I've sniffed it.

I've had it for about three years. This is the first blooming I remember. That doesn't mean it hasn't bloomed before, but I don't think it was this impressive. That is four flowers on one inflorescence.

No divisions. It actually isn't that big of a plant... I'm looking forward to next year!

That is beautiful Rob! I think you should just send me the whole plant and I'll send you back a division in a couple years.

Looks great Rob!!! I have recently started growing some of my cattleyas in baskets to try them out. I think because I am a heavy waterer, might work better by allowing the media to dry out faster.
