I'm quite jealous, Mauro! Fantastic blooms, and only time and sun will make it grow larger! Is that plant as small as I'm imagining it to be? That's quite impressive!

You might have a problem with light. When plants doesn't get enough light they stretch them self in direction to the light and grow not strong enough. What's the leaf color of your cats? Light, medium or dark green?

It depends a little on how old is your seedling, Rolando. But, you can also see this from another point of view: C. amethystoglossa is a tall plant and won't flower before it reaches at least 25-30 cm in height.

Of course not, Snow! On the contrary, I'd be honored!

Thanks, Pat. The tallest pseudo bulb is 30 cm. It flowered for the first time when the new pseudo bulb reached 25 cm in height.

Thank you Mauro!!! I think that 2 or 3 years would be the time. The biggest growth is about 6 inches from the base of the rhizome to the tip of the leaf.
