Blc. Kure Beach 'Lenette #2'
Beautiful all yellow hybrid and wonderfully scented, especially by noon.

A beautiful deep daffodil coloring. Is that another sheath on the pseudo in the front? Nicely spaced for good viewing.

The sheath you see in the front bulb is the sheath supporting the flowers. These are large blooms, so I needed to keep the buds separated so that they could open well. The stake you see is equiped with very thin wire at the top which is used to keep the flowers apart from each other.

Ross,
I am always amazed at your orchids and the photography you use to show them...as has been stated by others. Well done once again!
If you don't mind me asking, how many plants do you have in your collection? I imagine that it is "lots" with the variety that you have blooming now.

Thanks, David. I have more or less 2,000 orchids in my greenhouse. It is winter here now, so I don't have many plants in bloom. When spring comes...
