My Lc. Hausermanns Sultan
I bought this a couple of weeks ago, in bud, so I'm not really responsible for it, this time. A few other folks have posted theirs lately, so I thought I'd like to see one in person. I like it. It is a large plant, with six blooms on this growth, and another one about half grown. The scent is not strong, but I can smell it when I walk into the room. It reminds me of a soft hyacinth with some spice undertones. All in all, I'm glad I found room for it.

Your picture brought back old memories, Kim! I have moved my orchid collection from the Midwest to East Coast, back to the Midwest and finally to California. Each time, I had to kind of fire sale some plants and give some to other growers etc. One of the few orchids I ALWAYS replaced was LC Hausermann's Sultan 'Autumn Symphony'! I haven't much of a sense of smell anymore but even I can smell this one!! I don't believe there is another orchid that has the same fragrance. Beautiful , Kim! Good job!!!
