Default Cattleya forbesii

I Finaly got this Brazilian Cattleya to flower! I like the somewhat dull flower but the alba version is stunning

My alba is almost 50% larger both regarding plant and flower size and it may be a tetraploid......

and the alba:

Very nice flowers, Magnus. You'll have to post some pictures of your alba version of this species when it flowers. What kind of potting media are you growing your cattleyas in?

Magnus,
Well done!
I have C. forbesii on my wish list...i hope when I get it that I can grow it as well as you do. I happen to like the alba version more myself too.

Steve, I grow most of my Cattleyas in pure bark but the Cattleya forbesii on the top picture is potted in pure Epiweb. When in a "bigger pots, Epiweb acctually dries quite slow. I grow them on in my east window in my appartment.
