Default C. Bob Betts 'White Lightning'

Hi All!
This is my first purchase from the recent Hauserman's sale. I bought this in a 8.5" pot and it had a sheathe. I repotted and found black mushy roots, but some green roots where at the base of the newest spike. I wrote to them and told them what I found and they immediately sent me another sporting two sheathes and roots that hang to the floor (I never asked for it). However, this first one still bloomed spectacularly. I'm not sure if it will make it in the long haul, but I hope so.
I can honestly say this is the most beautiful catt I own....and largest! Hope you enjoy the pics.

Oh, one more thing...it's just opening, so I kind of jumped the gun on taking pics. I'm to anxious, I guess!

That looks great Kiki, I'll be posting a couple of white Catts on Monday, must be the season. With a little love you can bring that one back for sure.

Beautiful! Are you enjoying the fragrance? White Lightning has a really strong lily of the valley scent, especially as the flower matures a bit.

Kiki...that is fabulous! I love the 3rd photo of the lip and throat...it kind of pulls me in...and to hear that it is fragrant is like icing on the cake.
I'm also glad to hear that Hauserman's did right by you.

Not yet! The third bud just opened and wow, that is one pretty bloomer!

Sue, not sure how to do multiple quotes, but I am so pleased with Hauserman's that I have a tentative order in. I've just got to click that send button. Sale is over the 17th. I am doing a tug-of-war with myself. I need another plant like I need a whole in the head. Plus the mystery project very very soon. My oh my.....what to do, what to do!

They have a White Phal (in bud) that looks amazing, Paph concolor, Lc Blue Hawaii and Pot Free Spirit Eric (already on sale).
Okay Terri, talk me out of it!
Don't bother with the usual reasons, like I have NO ROOM! -or- I have to save for the mystery project and the TC for that! -or- My hubby is going to shoot me! -or- I have enough! That last one...... Ooooh, I crack myself up!
Okay Terri, give it your best shot. The clock's a ticking!
FYI, the orchids have already been dwindled down from six, to these four. I can't delete anymore or my fingers start cramping up. Very painful. Can't go there.
