Those flowers are stunning! I've read that this species does have a strong scent, but I've never seen a description of the scent. Would you mind describing it, please (if possible)?

Smweaver, it's hard to describe the fragrance of C.iricolor, because it is so different compared with the other orchids. I think it's sweet and strong (tangy ?), but not bad at all.
Once you have smelled it, it's easy to recognise the scent next time, even without seeing the plant
