Default Classic Blc. Malworth 'Orchidglade' FCC/AOS

This is a classic hybrid, used more than 160 times as a direct parent, mainly to generate other beautiful yellows.

It's been a while since I have seen this classic. I had a couple in my collection. However, age took its toll. As I recall the flowers had good substance. Thanks for posting.

Yes, H.Sunshine, good substance and flat flowers. I've seen several of his daugthers, but am very fond of one in particular, Potinara Luna Jaune!

I know what you mean about the yellow. Beautiful! I have a Blc Malworth x Sc Beaufort blooming now. Only 1 flower, but it is like you say "substantial" or sturdy and very yellow! Hopefully more flowers next time! I also have Blc Malworth x Pot Wattana Gold 'Orange Nugget' that hasn't bloomed yet. Now I'm really excited to see that one! It would love to add 'Orchidglade' to my collection (someday).

Susiep, you have there a very promising cross in hands (Malworth x Wattana Gold)! This is a cross I had scheduled to make and would have made it if I had not lost my Wattana Gold . Would love to see it when you get the flowers!!
