My Prosthechea citrina is blooming first time with magnificent flower.

The scent is like citrus and very intensive.

Beautiful plant, Joule, and one that we don't see much of in this area. Welcome to the OB. We'll look forward to hearing more from you.

Chubidubi, I know, these plants need colder rest time, and allmost dry conditions when dormant, but lots of light. ( In Finland we have lots of light all the time ... it's a joke )

There is one picture more ... Limoncito, as they call in Mexico ... i think so ...

The origin of this plant is Sweden about of five years ago. Nice form of flower and the lip is great.

... the scent is out of space

Gorgeous blooms, a freind has a huge clump that she grows right in front of her swamp cooler, it is on 24/7 for the spring, summer, and fall and during the winter she puts it really low in the green house so it can bask in the currents of cool air near the floor. I guess it really likes being cool, she brought it in last month with three flowers, the bulbs looked like baseballs.

Joule,
I know others have expressed this, but I just can't help but to say WOW!
I love the OB...it gives us all opportunities to see beautiful plants like this that can't be grown in our local areas. The only part missing is smell-o-rama.
