Cattleya trianae var. orlata 'Dawn'
Blooming out now this beauty! The plant was larger and used to give 7-8 flower on two leads, but I had to cut and repot it last year. So, only three this time!

What a beauty, Mauro! The colouring is so delicate. In my plant room, three blooms are considered very good but I would love to see it with eight! Next year, maybe??

Mauro !!!!!!!!!! That's the one I want. C. trianaie !!! It's gorgeous and it's a winter bloomer. It was a show at my great aunt's citrus tree each Dicember . At least 50+ flowers on a huge specimen plant. That plant was older than me Yours is lovely. I definetly need to get my hands on a division of my greataunt's original plant.

So, go for it, Rolando! We also like very much C. trianae here because its bloossoms appear in winter, besides its obvious beauty, of course!!
