Finally !! After getting this from a California buddy back in 2004 who couldn't get this rupicolous laelia to bloom,it decided to throw up a spike! with 2 flowers.It was BS when I bought it with lots of mature growth.

Shirley,I've never been successful with lundii so not the guy to ask. No, S/H isn't for me.I haven't been able to find anything on briegeri var striata so still skeptical on the name.Briegeri is a solid yellow.Perhaps Rosim of Brazil could help me.

This is spectacular!! I really love the colors. What an accomplishment - having it for 4 years and then it blooms!! Holy cow, I don't know it I would have kept it that long - you have great perserverance!!
