I was out in the G/H this morn. and discovered that I have this same orchid. Mine however, produces a lot of new growth tho many of the sheaths don't mature into buds/flowers. Yes, it has bloomed but not as many as yours or as many as the sheaths that are produced. Any growing tips????

Funny you should mention that. I bought this at Lowe's for $2 a few years back and, like you said, produced lots of growth and sheaths but no buds. When it finally filled the pot, it started to put on the show; so maybe repot it in a smaller pot?

TikiGeorge - I checked mine today and it is only in a
4 1/2" pot with 30 pseudobulbs. Granted some are only an inch or two tall but they all have leaves that are green. It is now pushing to sides of the pot and I was going to repot but maybe I'll wait for another season. Thanks for you input.

Sorry "boytjie", but I got mine a couple of years ago and I bought at Lowe's. I think most of theirs come from Sun Bulb or Better-Gro, and they are in Fla. I think if you Welcome to Better-Gro fine products for gardening and orchids you will come to their website.
