Shocking pink Epidendrum haematanthum
The colors in these photos are faithfull. The shocking pink of this Epidendrum is fantastic. This is a small piece of a larger plant I have and is flowering for the first time in a plastic glass I put it in. Well grown plants form balls of flowers atop the stems that capture the attention for their vibrant color!

Tindo, Susanne, now that you mention candies... I remember those wonderful pink cotton candy we loved to love when we were kids ! I don't know whether you have (or had, because sometimes these things simply disappear as time goes by!) cotton candy there, but here it was one of our favorite candies when we were out with our parents. Especially the pink one!

I used to love the pink cotton candy too. I also love this great little flower a lot, but I think I'll just look at it, it probably would't taste as good as the candy.

I have an Epidendrum in Red, Orange, & Yellow but I've never seen the Pink before now. I planted them all together and when in bloom quite a sight, those balls of flowers. Not many pink orchids, but this is very nice indeed!
