Cattleya trianae var. alba 'Aranka Germaske' FCC/AOS
One of the best C. trianae alba, if not the best, considering all aspects: form, size, substance, perfume. The flowers in this picture have 19cm (vertical axis) and 16cm (horizontal axis, or petal tip to petal tip).
Interesting fact is that, among Cattleyas, C. trianae has three FCC awards granted by the AOS besides 'Aranke Germaske - type clones 'The President' and 'Cashens', and the concolor 'Memoria Antonio Alcardo', being the species most awarded with FCC inside this beautiful genus that accounts around 50 species.

Exquisite Mauro. More recently I have begun to appreciate the alba forms of Cattleyas. This is certainly a beauty.
Is your collection exclusively of the Cattleya alliance?

I got to have one of those but on the lavender form with the dark purple lip. I had it in my country mounted on a citrus tree and it was gorgeous. It's my mom's favorite but haven't found one yet. Mauro do you know of any sites or if they have it in Brazil ??? This flowers is Colombia's national flower. It's a beauty just like all your other plants

Thank you all! Thanks for the kind words.
Roly, the lavender is the type for this species. You can easily find it in Miami. I guess that near any nursery will have it available!

It is mainly composed of the Cattleya alliance Oscarman, but not only. I also grow other genera like Oncidium, Zygopetalum, Maxillaria, Dracula, Vanda, Rhynchostylis, Masdevallia, Phalaenopsis, and so on.
