Default Encyclia Tampensis var alba 'Mendenhall'

I've had this plant for about a year and a half now and this is its second blooming. I put it in the basket back in April and plan to let it just take over the thing. I've noticed that my plant's petals are yellow, yet the other albas I've seen are green. Whatever, I like it just the way it is.

Hello Tiki !!! It looks gorgeous !!! I've got the same one but mine petals stay green until the flower starts aging then they turn yellow and finally brown and the flower fall off. Again looks great.

How did you get the Enc.tampenis va. alba to bloom?
Mine is lovely, but has not bloomed in the three years I have had it. Anne

That is really impressive, especially when I think of the two flowers I had on mine this year!

That really is a nice plant, but Anne I don't think George is around any longer. I sure haven't seen him.
