Oscarman - you are spot on with your observations as Blc. Oconee - http://gallery.photo.net/photo/4030544-lg.jpg is a parent of Blc Chia Lin.
The other parent is Blc Maitland (This photo is the 'Miles' AM/AOS cultivar ) - http://blogimg.goo.ne.jp/user_image/...42ea6ed877.jpg

( Blc Chia Lin is now Rhynchosophrocattleya Chia Lin according to the RHS )

Millionaire? I wish!!!
But sometimes when I divide my plants I trade some pieces. It helps acquiring new ones because, you know, there will never be enough orchids for an orchid lover !!

Oconee is a splendid parent and the combination with Maitland has generated some of the finest hybrid orchids ever produced. In my humble opinion, Chia Lin, being Oconee's daughter, resembles it but is way better in a few aspects like overall color, the yellow-golden veins, size and shape.

Thanks for the tip Mauro. I've got it under lights in a south window but that may not be strong enough.
