Laelia Pacavia
This is the primary hybrid between L. pupurata and tenebrosa and I can only take partial credit for this one. I picked this one up from EOoM when I popped over to Maui this past May. It wasnt spiking yet, but it was in sheath. This seems to be a first bloom for this plant and since its so nice this time, I will have high hopes for it next summer! The colors are kinda tough to get on camera, so I tried several different lighting schemes, two outside and one inside. Enjoy!

Steve, I'm so happy you posted this!
I ordered one from EooM on my last order (prior to the Peristeria elata incident ) and it's doing great but hasn't bloomed yet.
now I'm really looking forward to it!
yours is a beauty!

Magnificent! But then with those parents, what else could it be? Great job, Steve.

I think you should take a great deal of credit for these blooms, Steve!!! I've purchased Catts in sheath before and they blasted...sometimes I think getting them to sheath is a little easier than getting them to bloom!!
"Popped over to Maui?!?!?!?!" I can't stand it!!! SOOOO jealous!!
