I truly love this one Sue. I agree with you ... it's one of those orchids you should get. It's almost everblooming.

Sue, you're right.It won't do on the tree unless it's in a basket or other medium hanging of the tree so you can bring it in on those freezing nights you have up there However, the Encyclia Tampensis will do just fine and I wouldn't be surprised if you already owned one.

I love your bananas LOL. It's a pretty nice, actually beautiful, orchid too. Here's a pic I took of one in the wild a couple of weeks ago. Hmmmm ok not as pretty as the Clamshell but not bad.
Just where did you buy that beautiful orchid anyway???

This E cochleata 'John' x sib came from Exotic Orchids of Maui a few years ago.
