This is a first bloom for this particular plant. I got it and mounted it a few years ago and it really seems to like it! This little guy has cranked out 3 consecutive (all in a row, not at the same time) p-bulbs since January which is SUPER fast IMO for any Catt type. The previous 2 bulbs had these dead little flower nubs when the leaves opened up and I thought I was doing something wrong!!
I think it just needed to get a bit bigger to bloom.
Anyway, I took the first 2 pics right where it grows (I know, Im getting lazy
), but the fact that it was in the shade kinda tooks some color away from that lip, which is very vibrant. The final pic is in the sun to show the correct color but I dont know how successful I was. Thanks for checkin out my pics!!
