A member of the cockleshell orchids. It is very easy to grow them outdoors here.

It is beautiful! You mean that you have a club specifically for cockleshell orchids? Very interesting. They must be very popular where you live. Love the pic but wish it was lighter so I could seen the plant as well as the flower. Thanks.

Don, there are several kinds of cockleshell orchids available here. Prosthechea chacaoensis is a member of this family. Other common cockleshells, such as lancifolia、fragrans ans cochleata are also popular here.
