Default Sophronitis cernua *MINI*

Got this little Guy in the beggining of September,
I put him at the very top near the light source inside my Orchidarium.
It like it!

So this looks like a growth, but Im lusting for a spike. What do you think?

Looks good. I would say it's a new growth, Sophronitis are related to Catts, and bloom from a sheath at the top of the bulb. You can see an old spike on the front bulb.

Sophronitis cernua will bloom on the new growths when the leaves unfold. The buds are contained inside the leaves while they mature. It is easy to grow and bloom, and can handle warmer temperatures than s.coccinea and dryer conditions.

Mine usually start to bud this time of year, through early spring. Don't know what their schedule is like in an orchidarium.
