Brass Nodosa X Schom undulatu Male
Cool Brass Nodosa X Schom undulatu

I am interested in both of these genus and then I found this cross on ebay--my question how can I find out how it behaves -- Schom's are full sun and Brassavola like a lot of bright light --anyone have one of these ?? JD

don't know the cross, but sure it will be a very nice and interesting plant.. and since both especies are sun-lovers... well... I think your new kid will be crying for "more sun than anyone out of the ecuador could provide"

I'd say "go fer it!" Full sun up your way shouldn't be a biggie.

Gradually let it adapt to full sun .. a little bit at a time to insure the leaves don't burn from any sudden change in light intensity
.. I have a few schombo/myrmeco hybrids and I give them as much sun as I can
and don't overwater them .. they like to dry out .. no need for any sphag in the medium ..
I have mine in CHC and they are loving it
I look forward to photos of those blooms
