What a beautiful species.

Thanks, Mauro. That really surprises me.

Pheli, It seems to me to be russeliana, but I needed to see the color of the lip more clearly to be sure. Anyway, variety russeliana has a very particular pink-lavender hue in the lip that you can take a look here:

Also, if you allow me using your thread, I'm posting a photo of a flower of the variety venosa, exceptional clone by the way (not mine, unfortunately !) for you to confirm whether yours also is.

Mauro, mine seems different from yours, but I will take another photo of its lip for you to check.
As for the venosa, apparently, mine doesn’t have so distinct veins as the bloom you posted. Does the environment or other growing factor contribute to the formation of veins? I found another photo of this plant taken 2 years ago, it did not have so many detectable veins on it.

The veins in the variety venosa are a stable character should not vary from year to year and must be clearly visible, Pheli. Your feeling is right, the second photo clarifies it better, it seems that we cannot classify it as venosa, after all.
As for the possible russeliana, when you have a photo of the lip, please post it.
