Great colour Peter. Looks to be quite a large plant.. Must be at least 20 flowers on it. Way to go.

Wow, that is truly awesome. Laelia purpurata is one of my favourite orchid species, period. Regal in stature, subtle in colouration, intoxicating in scent, generous at bloom time, it really has everything going for it. Your plants are immaculate.

Swamper and Bellini: this is not one plant!!
I have put some L.purpurata together to create a nice photo!!
Next year will be even better. Expect also some L.purpurata var. carnea and Werckhauserii in bloom then.
i will put then all together again! :-)
