Flowering right now in my collection is this old hybrid - more than thirty years old, maybe 50 or more. It is unifoliate (with one large leaf), large overall size and up to 5 large flowers once a year in May from a large sheath.
Because of the fine lines on the base of the lip I suspect Laelia purpurata in their ancesty. Another one might be C. mossiae. If it is a primary hybrid between both it is LC. Canhamiana- but I doubt.

Anyone can help please ? I know here are the experts.
