That makes a lot of sense Louis, so I may get a really faint pink shade or an almost tipo one? The chances are more leaning towards a almost alba/faint pink flower? I don't have the orchid yet since it's an import so I'll receive it at the end of May/beginning of June. I'll be sure to check the pigmentation. I grow my orchids under strong output LED lights so a lot of the more dark flower orchids turn a bit purple so that will surely be a queue.

Sadly in Europe it's more difficult to find rare cattleyas. There are 2 German nurseries one called Asendorfer which has a lot of great cultivars and selfing of those cultivars available but they are mostly small orchids. Then there is Strauss orchideen which has really expensive orchids starting at 60€ going towards the 900€+, some of them you have to ask the owner for the price because it is not listed. The really rare ones are kind of out of my budget haha but they are mostly rare imported orchids.
Thanks a lot for the answer!
