Cattleya Aurora
Default Cattleya Aurora

Hi everybody,
please I need your help with my Cattleya Aurora (C. dowiana x C. luteola). It has never bloomed for me. In the Summer, given the absolute drought here in Italy, I used to shower It with water, but It almost rotted. I took It back into the house, shortening on water and It got Better. I grow It in scattered light, 70F Max and 60F min. It was on the Point of blooming, but the buds got rotten. Where do I mistake?😭😭😭

I've never grown this plant. Both of its parents are warm to hot growers. Your growing conditions are too cool for it.

I agree, sounds like cold temps with too much water are hurting the plant
