Default B. Nodosa “Mas. Mejor”

Have a question about this bloom. Is it normal for bottom petal to curl like on these pictures or is it a sign of some deficiency? (Water, temperature??)

The scent at night is absolutely magical and it stays in the morning for some time. I caught myself staying longer than usual in the room with this plant.

I expected scent to be similar to “little stars”, but it is different. I’d say more complex and more intriguing.

I think it is normal. As the plant matures, and you get more flowers, they'll probably flatten out. Once B. nodosa gets big, it will keep popping out flowers for months.

Most, but not all of the images in Orchid Wiz do not show that degree of deflection. That some do suggest a cultural component.
