I've been adding these random nameless tetraploid/polyploids from H&R whenever I order (maybe 2-3 times over the past 4 years) and I've been consistently impressed. The tag which is buried in the pot just says
Cattleya trianae (colchicine treated). It's likely a 4n but you can get all sorts of polyploids from colchicine treatments- however most likely its a 4N.
Good round shape, very large petals and sepals with the tiniest petal flares and rich color in the labellum. I'm realizing now that it's not even open fully so I'll post a picture if it spreads out.
