And it was just one week ago that the decades old popular clone ‘White Lightning’ was awarded a 87 point award of merit. Mine is just getting ready to bloom, and I can only imagine thousands of growers around the globe are enjoying its beauty. Thank you Hausermann!
All four are spectacular! Especially love those first two!
Yes, both Bob Betts and Dinard are exquisite representatives of orchid excellence. I just edited my photo label of C. Dinard to show that 'Blue Heaven' is also an awarded clone.

Agreed! It has also been a very prolific bloomer for me. Last season C. Bob Betts 'White Lightning' set a new record in my garden as a 1st-time bloomer -- 6 huge, gorgeous blooms on three spikes. This year it gave me 7 flowers on two spikes! I wonder what next season will bring
All of these are beautiful. But Bob takes the show, in my opinion. Like most cattleyas, he's not all that attractive without his blooms. But once those magnificent flowers appear and I get a whiff of the scent, I feel like apologizing to him profusely for ever having grumbled about the amount of space he requires. Congratulations on your flowers. They're wonderful.
